Travel CT Technologist - Alameda, California Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a 13"‘week travel assignment. Start date: ASAP. Location: Facility in Alameda, California. 40 hours per week, 8"‘hour night shifts. Travel position. Summary The CT Tech operates computerized tomography scanners to produce cross"‘sectional images for diagnostic purposes. They prepare patients, position them, follow imaging protocols, collaborate with radiologists, maintain equipment, document imaging data, and ensure radiation safety. Essential Work Functions Operate CT equipment to produce images of bone, organ, and tissue. Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately. Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology. Provide high"‘quality images to radiologists. Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CT equipment. Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities. Perform other duties as assigned within scope. Required Qualifications One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist. Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Preferred Qualifications Current ARRT certification. Additional certifications and licenses as required for the position. Required Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication skills. English reading, writing, and communication proficiency. Ability to read/comprehend instructions and PC proficiency. Physical: ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50-100 lbs), push/pull, bend. Interpersonal: work effectively with diverse personnel. Technical: fine manipulation, push/pull, assist with procedures.
