This role will be instrumental in building and managing a world"‘class supplier base that is high quality and low cost and resilient to delivery challenges.This position reports to the Head of Operations. We have a preference for Bay Area candidates but are open to a remote position.The ideal candidate will have deep experience in US"‘based Supply Chains, with a working knowledge of international sourcing, contract negotiation, trade compliance and logistics. A background in ceramics and battery manufacturing is a plus. This position will manage and hire a team within the first year.10+ years experience in managing teams in Supply Chain and LogisticsStrong familiarity with ERP/MRP systemsAbility to partner with Engineering to qualify new suppliersProven success negotiating, cost modeling and supplier management.
