Scion Staffing is searching for a Referral & Intake Coordinator for a healthcare-related organization. The position is remote within the West Coast time zone, with San"¯Francisco onsite strongly preferred. POSITION OVERVIEW Process incoming referrals, medical documentation, and related intake requests to ensure accurate and timely handling within a fast"‘paced, technology"‘driven workflow. Support clinical operations by reviewing, validating, and entering essential medical information. PERKS Competitive hourly compensation of $35-$45/hr DOE Casual startup culture with flexibility where possible Option for remote work within PST or onsite in SF (equipment provided either way) Opportunity to convert to a permanent employee Work"‘life balance with a consistent Monday-Friday daytime schedule RESPONSIBILITIES Process incoming referrals, orders, and medical documentation with accuracy and efficiency. Review, interpret, and validate medical documents such as progress notes, orders, and related forms. Enter and manage referral data using medical billing and digital workflow systems. Communicate professionally with internal team members to ensure smooth coordination. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy with all patient"‘related documentation. Collaborate with team members to support improvements in workflows and operations. QUALIFICATIONS Background in healthcare, medical records, insurance, pharmacy tech, or a related environment. Ability to interpret clinical documentation and basic medical terminology. Comfortable using digital tools and learning new software systems. Strong attention to detail with high"‘volume data accuracy. Able to operate confidently in a fast"‘paced, startup"‘style environment.
