Position: Personal Trainer- West Hollywood Location: Los Angeles, CA Job Id: 143 # of Openings: 1 COMPANY: BoxUnion POSITION: Personal Trainer LOCATION: West Hollywood + 1 other BU studio POSITION OVERVIEW Our personal trainers deliver top-notch training with a personable and high-energy approach. We demand the best from our staff and uphold the highest level of professionalism. We are looking for a personal trainer to join our team and work a minimum of 10-15 personal training sessions per week (30 or 60 minutes each) across a minimum of 2 out of our 3 BoxUnion locations. BRAND STANDARDS & RESPONSIBILITIES Build and maintain an active client base Seamlessly work with current members to sell personal training, retain members, and continuously sell to the current member base Manage and maintain an accurate schedule, including client appointments, meetings, and open availability within our internal scheduling systems Build and generate a strong fitness business through new client acquisition and retention Work closely with management to schedule sessions Maintain knowledge of all club services, programs, and products Attend and participate in any required one-on-one or team meetings with management Design and deliver comprehensive fitness programs based on clients' goals, including appropriate exercise selections and varied fitness offerings Demonstrate safe and proper exercise techniques to clients Arrive on time, prepared, and enthusiastic for every training appointment and/or group session Increase member group training sessions and attendance through strong teaching skills and the ability to connect with and motivate others with a wide variety of fitness levels Report to the General Manager and interact with all levels of club staff Extended workdays are frequent, as are weekends and holidays as needed to support the business REQUIREMENTS Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification or a bachelor's degree in the field Boxing technique experience and ability to hold mitts Eligible for higher-level opportunities based on experience and education Passion, ambition, drive, and fitness knowledge Ability to work in person during weekdays & weekends Strong verbal and written communication skills Effective time management and organizational skills Basic computer and technology skills Energetic, friendly, punctual, and respectful COMPENSATION & PERKS Enjoy discounted company merchandise and take classes for FREE $45-$70 per session + commission Sick leave and discounts through TicketsAtWork About BoxUnion Founded in 2016, BoxUnion is a fitness boxing brand that operates under BoxUnion Holdings, a company dedicated to empowering individuals through fitness.
