Description Are you a skilled and passionate freelance Russian interpreter looking for new opportunities? We want to hear from you! We are hiring qualified freelance interpreters to provide on-site and video remote interpretation (VRI) for San Francisco. Assignments may include community events, educational support, and healthcare appointments. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Facilitate accurate and effective communication between English speaking and non-English speaking individuals. Prepare in advance for interpreting sessions by reviewing materials and understanding context. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to our Code of Professional Conduct. Collaborate with the LinguaLinx team members, clients, and other service providers to ensure effective communication. Requirements: Completion of a 40-hour Interpreting Training Course. Proficiency in English and target language(s), both spoken and written. Adherence to HIPAA, strong interpersonal skills, and reliable internet connection for remote assignments. Ability to work independently and adapt to various environments and client needs. 18 years or older with high school diploma or equivalent. Must possess valid U.S. work authorization. May be subject to a background check. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in medical, legal, or educational interpreting. Comfortable with simultaneous interpreting.
