Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience "” talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$29.69/hr - $40.95/hrDirect message the job poster from UC Davis HealthThe QR & Training Analyst ensures the highest quality output from the Professional Billing Department by conducting regular Quality Reviews on the work of the Patient Billers, providing feedback, as well as planning, developing and conducting training in both group and individual settings.Minimum QualificationsDemonstrated expertise with the EPIC Resolute billing application and its functionsStrong knowledge and broad understanding of third party professional billing, including but not limited to Medicare, Medicare HMO, Medi-Cal, Managed Care Medi-Cal, major commercial and workman's compensation payersExperience with a variety of reporting and data organizational tools and other software applications including, but not limited to MICROSOFT EXCEL, BUSINESS OBJECTS, MICROSOFT WORD, POWER POINT, VISIO and OUTLOOK.Experience supervising and/or training medical billing staff on a variety of professional billing functionsHigh School diploma or equivalent work experience/trainingExperience supervising and/or training medical billing staff on a variety of professional billing functionsKey Responsibilities45% - Training Support35% - Staff Quality Review Scoring10% - Quality Analysis10% - Identification and Reporting of Global Quality IssuesDepartment OverviewThe Professional Billing Group (PBG) provides billing and collection services for approximately 1,200+ UCD School of Medicine faculty physicians and other providers. The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst/Trainer is responsible for monitoring and improving the overall quality and effectiveness of the PBG billing and follow up staff. The QA Analyst/Trainer will proactively identify and address quality issues that result in delayed and/or decreased reimbursement. The primary responsibilities span the entire Revenue Cycle and include: staff Quality Review (QR) scoring, quality analysis, identification of global quality issues, and training support.This position is hybrid (mix of on-site and remote work)THIS IS NOT AN HI-B OPPORTUNITYOutstanding benefits and perks are among the many rewards of working for the University of California.
