The Field Service Technician will operate and maintain water treatment systems, effectively identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them.Core Responsibilities and Tasks • Creates and maintains safe working environment and cultures within the organization • Trouble shoots systems for mechanical, electrical equipment conditions • Identify and remedy safety issues - both Company and Customer owned equipment • Direct interfacing with customer • Potentially at multiple sites with multiple technologies • Delivery and installation of water filtration tanks Organization Impact: • First line of technical service support • Customer facing • High utilization • Accountable to customer for operation and repair of the system Position Requirements FORMAL EDUCATIONRequired: • HS diploma or equivalent KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:Required: • Ability to obtain TWIC card • One year of mechanical and/ or instrumentation work experience preferred • 0-2 years technical experience in water treatment technologies • Experience with Microsoft office including smart devices • Must have customer service experience • Demonstrates critical thinking and trouble shooting ability • Able to pass a credit check • Forklift certification preferred not required • 50 lb lifting requirement • Must be willing and able to work some overtime, weekends, and holidays; must be willing to travel 25% of time • On call responsibilities on a rotational scheduleWerden Sie Teil des globalen Xylem-Teams und gestalten Sie innovative Technologielí¶sungen mit, die die Nutzung, Verfügbarkeit, den Schutz und die nachhaltige Verwendung von Wasser sicherstellen.
