Your responsibilities configuring, operating, and maintaining data governance and metadata platforms (e.g. OpenMetadata, Collibra, Informatica, Attacama, Alation - depending on the project) integrating data catalogs with the data ecosystem (data warehouses, databases, dbt, BI tools, cloud services - incl. BigQuery) setting up and maintaining metadata ingestion pipelines (technical metadata, schemas, lineage, usage statistics) implementing and maintaining:technical data lineage,profiling and basic data quality checks,RBAC and data access controls within governance platforms automating metadata ingestion, synchronization, and updates supporting governance platform migrations day-to-day operational support:monitoring platform health, troubleshooting integrations,resolving metadata ingestion issues collaborating with Business and Governance teams to technically map:business definitions,data quality rules,ownership structures into the platform creating and maintaining technical documentation (configurations, integrations, operational standards) supporting internal teams in the effective and correct use of governance platforms What we're looking for hands-on experience with data governance / metadata platforms (OpenMetadata, Collibra, Ataccama, or similar) understanding of cloud data ecosystems (e.g. Azure, GCP BigQuery, Pub/Sub; experience with other clouds is a plus) comfort working with SQL, dbt, and system integrations experience with:metadata ingestion,lineage,data profiling and data quality tooling basic knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and some hands-on experience with tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar - at configuration level) experience maintaining data platforms in production environmentsclear and transparent communication in Polish and English readiness to take ownership, make technical decisions, and be accountable for platform stability What we offer a clear opportunity to deepen expertise in data governance and metadata management within real, large-scale production environments salary ranging from 15 000 - 18 000 PLN net (B2B) 100% remote work, with full flexibility to work from anywhere in Poland participation in projects for well-known, international brands hands-on work with real, large-scale production environments high level of autonomy within the role regarding fulfilling agreed expectations collaboration with an experienced team of experts (Data, Development, Cybersecurity, SEO, AI) an environment where quality and thoughtful architecture truly matter a highly transparent, collaborative environment built on trust and mutual respect We are primarily looking for a Mid-level Engineer who wants to grow into platform ownership.
