Who We Are Looking For As a Senior associate (assistant manager) in the cash settlement team located in Sacramento, you will be an SME responsible for the oversight and review of daily operations to ensure that all deliverables are reviewed with 100% accuracy. You are also responsible for validating and audit"‘checking deliverables from A2/A1 against the agreed client service level agreement (SLA), validity guidelines, risk policies, and standing operational procedures, and to ensure all queries and issues raised by both external and internal parties meet the highest quality within the agreed turnaround times. You will need to demonstrate the ability to influence people, engage with your peers and managers, and effectively communicate issues identified from auditing and address appropriate actions. This role can be performed in a 4X4 hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements. What You Will Be Responsible For Effectively perform auditing/review work to identify all issues before delivering the external clients. Promptly respond to queries from the client or upstream/downstream internal teams. Understand the core offering and ways to increase efficiencies and accuracy in the day"‘to"‘day process. Ensure that all day"‘to"‘day tasks and/or issues/queries raised by internal and external parties are resolved within agreed time frames. Have a high level of understanding of the client's SLA, organization, policies, and key contacts. Identify, initiate, and implement operational improvements"”especially in cost saving, productivity, control gap resolution, and risk reduction. Ensure risk controls are adhered to the standard operation procedure and client"‘specific procedure. Establish and build relationships with internal and external communication. Assist the manager to perform staff training and development through effective performance reviews, and provide feedback to the account manager within the team, playing a key role in training staff to ensure they have the capability to service the clients. Assist the manager with daily resource allocation and peak"‘time management in line with overtime governance policy. Proactively manage procedures, SOPs, checklists, and change requests. Education & Preferred Qualifications Degree qualified in English, Banking, Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related discipline; or relevant work experience in a similar role preferred. Ideally 2-3 years of experience in fund accounting or the custody market. Good knowledge of fund accounting operational concepts.
