Job Overview The VP of Hospitalist Operations is the physician leader accountable for daily fulfillment of JMMG's hospital staffing operation and the execution of JMMG's Policies via Procedures. The VP shall report to the JMMG COO and dotted line to JMH COO (shared operational goals and complimentary incentives). JMMG's priority is to pursue the underlying community health mission by managing the complexity of the organization with its many stakeholders. The scope of services provided by JMMG includes direct clinical service staffing, management operations and strategic partnerships. The VP of Hospitalist Operations is responsible for operational excellence managing the clinical services provided by JMMG in inpatient settings. They will manage hospitalist staffing requests and oversee JMMG work standards, relying on a team to assist in this endeavor. They will co"‘lead continuous process improvement efforts in the hospital with JMH. VP Hosp Ops will be expected to undergo Lean process management training. Operational excellence is expected in fulfilling our business obligations, quality of service delivery, human resource management, financial stewardship, and risk/compliance. The management time frame is daily but includes semi"‘annual planning. The VP of Hospitalist Operations must maintain a productive and positive partnership with JMH/JMHPN. A partnership that is more valuable than contract terms will enable mutual success. Role to include administrative and clinical work. Admin FTE .80"¯FTE (32"¯hrs/week) and Clinical FTE: minimum 0.2 and maximum 0.3 (hours vary based on inpatient vs. outpatient). Hybrid role that requires weekly in"‘office presence.
