This role blends strategic consulting, program and project leadership, and hands-on digital solution deployment to help clients modernize operations, improve decision-making, and realize measurable efficiency gains.The ideal candidate is a trusted client advisor who can translate business and operational challenges into actionable digital roadmaps, guide technology-enabled transformation programs, and collaborate across engineering, IT, and operations teams. This role positions Jacobs for long-term, high-value digital programs while advancing adoption of Jacobs' internal digital tools and capabilities.ResponsibilitiesClient Digital Transformation & AdvisoryLead digital transformation engagements for public and private sector clients, including digital strategy development, technology master planning, and digital roadmap creation.Serve as a primary client advisor, building trusted relationships with executive and technical stakeholders and guiding them through complex organizational and technology change.Shape client digital visions that align operational needs, data, systems, and long-term capital and operational planning.Translate strategic advisory outcomes into implementable programs and phased delivery plans.Program & Project LeadershipAct as Project Manager or Task Lead on digital advisory and implementation projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations are met.Step into leadership roles during periods of transition to ensure continuity of service for key clients and programs.Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across consulting, engineering, IT, data, and software development disciplines.Manage risk, stakeholder expectations, and delivery quality.Digital Solutions & Tool EnablementSupport and advance adoption of Jacobs' digital tools and platforms (e.g., analytics, optimization, automation, and decision support tools).Partner with technical teams to demonstrate digital solutions to clients and integrate them into broader transformation programs.Identify opportunities where digital tools can create measurable efficiency gains, cost savings, or performance improvements.Business Development & GrowthContribute to proposal development, including technical approach, digital strategy, and delivery planning.Identify follow-on opportunities within existing client relationships and support commercial growth strategies.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, business, or a related field.Experience delivering digital transformation, technology advisory, or enterprise system implementation within infrastructure, utilities, or adjacent industries.Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements and manage projects or task orders.Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both executive leaders and technical teams.Experience translating complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions.PreferredExperience in the water, wastewater or transportation client sectors (e.g., departments of transportation, tolling authorities).Background in software development, data platforms, analytics, or enterprise systems.Experience supporting proposal development.Demonstrated success delivering measurable outcomes (e.g., efficiency gains, cost savings, improved service delivery).Benefits and CompensationOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
