This is a unique opportunity to step into a part-time Accountant role (15-20 hrs/week) where your work directly supports the President and Vice President in planning, strategizing, and guiding the future of the company. Why This Role is Different You'll have a seat at the table, not just handling accounting but helping inform business decisions Soft skills matter more than hard skill, we are willing to train and develop the right person Flexible, hybrid schedule (home + office) Seasonal balance, with more time off and flexibility during slower summer months A team and company culture that values people, collaboration, and intention Responsibilities This role blends day-to-day accounting responsibilities with higher-level financial support: Manage accounts payable and receivable Maintain accurate financial records and handle sensitive financial information with discretion Support the monthly close process Prepare financial statements and reports Assist with cash flow tracking, forecasting, and budgeting Work closely with leadership on financial visibility and planning Collaborate across departments to support smooth operations You'll be supported along the way! What We're Looking For Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload independently Detail-oriented and highly organized Strong communication and interpersonal skills A desire to learn, grow, and collaborate with others Ability to think critically and contribute to problem-solving High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion Experience is helpful, but not everything. We're looking for the right mindset and approach. Education in Accounting or an Accounting related field is preferred.
