Taproom General Manager Location: Multiple (Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Novato, Off"‘Site Events) Role Title: Taproom General Manager Pay: $70,000 - $90,000 Hours: Full Time (40+ hours/week including weekends & holidays) Exempt Status: Exempt HenHouse Brewing Co. is seeking a Taproom General Manager to join our team. In this role you will lead day"‘to"‘day operations of multiple taproom locations. Ideal candidates will bring passion and experience in the beer, food and beverage industries, as well as extensive team management experience. You will work with the retail director, lead bartenders, bartenders, vendors, and various internal teams, to help create a healthy working environment, a consistently high level of guest experience, and a profitable business. You must have a passion for craft beer, hospitality, and service, as well as exceptional communication and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize projects and tasks effectively. You will work on site across multiple locations throughout the North Bay including our taprooms in Santa Rosa, Petaluma, and Novato as well as coordinating special events across locations and off"‘site as needed. You will join a team of experienced taproom and brewery professionals and have the full support of in"‘house human resources, accounting, marketing, and finance teams. The work schedule will be five days per week, including weekends and most holidays. Scheduling flexibility is a requirement for this position. Primary Skills (Required) 3+ years of experience managing taprooms, bars, restaurants, etc. Depth of knowledge within the general craft beer industry as well as local craft beer scene Ability to lead and motivate a team Ability to develop and maintain SOPs Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to excellence and high standards Versatility, flexibility, dependability and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities Strong organizational, problem"‘solving, and analytical skills Honesty and integrity - display the highest standards of ethical conduct personally and professionally Proven effective time management, productivity and prioritization skills Exceptionally well organized and detail oriented Committed to excellence, goal oriented and driven/accountable to meet objectives/goals - wants to make a difference and contribute positively to company success Demonstrates a sense of urgency and is ready to work with a "can do" attitude and willingness to do whatever is necessary to get the job done Demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit Accountability - accepts responsibility for behavior; and starting, controlling and completing tasks Responsibilities Coordinate with the retail director and lead bartenders to implement change, systemize across locations, continually drive standards higher Manage broad areas of responsibility including staffing, beverage ordering/receiving, daily/weekly accounting, repairs & maintenance, general supplies ordering, food truck management, taproom activation programming, staff education, various administrative duties, event planning, management and execution, etc. Direct management of taproom team personnel: Including hiring, training, developing, discipline and termination Scheduling staff across multiple locations including breaks and rest periods Setting employee performance expectations Demonstrate the highest level of integrity in how you interact with your coworkers, your direct reports, and the quality of our taprooms Enforcing employee performance expectations Identify and commend exemplary behavior in all members of the department, encouraging them to do the same Where necessary, identify inappropriate behavior in department member and present corrective action Develop and ensure operations are in compliance with SOPs Maintain Safe Working Conditions Perform other related duties as assigned Maintain and promote a positive work environment with a focus on customer service Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with co workers Work to continuously improve quality at Fort Point HenHouse Locations 322 Bellevue Ave. Santa Rosa CA 95407 1333 N McDowell Blvd, Petaluma, CA 94954 1301 Grant Ave, Novato, CA 94945 Compensation $70,000-$90,000/yr Shifts 40+ hours, 5 days per week, varying depending on the changing needs of the business Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends & holidays Scheduling flexibility is a requirement for this position Benefits Paid vacation time (3 weeks) Paid sick time Health Care: Employer contribution to Kaiser base plan.
