Health & Safety Incident Response Technician (Field Technician) Benefits Work an alternative week - 4 days/10"‘hour shifts $21"‘$24/hour Company vehicle to take home Paid training Comprehensive medical benefits with a wide range of choices 401(k) retirement plan On"‘call rotation of some overnight and weekend shifts required - on"‘call stipend $45/night and $150/weekend Roles & Responsibilities Ensure health and safety compliance at various worksites, ranging from construction to refineries Provide first aid and incident reports Perform health screenings Draw blood when certified Preferred Education or Experience EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, Military Medic, or equivalent Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse Or with additional in"‘house training: Emergency Medical Responder, X"‘Ray Technician, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant Minimum Qualifications At least 18 years of age Insurable by company motor vehicle insurance policy (minimum 3 years driving history or documented defensive driving training; no severe driving record "hits") Pass criminal background check (as permitted by law) Pass pre"‘employment drug screen and maintain compliance with drug testing policy requirements Additional Requirements Excellent communicators, comfortable with public speaking, and able to articulate instructions clearly Comfortable standing, walking, sitting, and climbing stairs for extended periods Willingness to operate a motor vehicle for extended periods and long distances is essential Disclaimer On"‘Site Health & Safety conducts an extensive background check, which includes a motor vehicle driver's license check. The insurance company and internal safety department review MVR records to determine if an applicant will be extended fleet driving privileges based on several risk factors, including previous negative "hits" on an MVR check, such as excessive moving violations, DUIs, reckless driving, etc. The search also considers a driver's driving age/history. The test may include all substances that can be found in Department of Transportation"‘regulated tests. The timing of testing includes pre"‘employment, reasonable suspicion/reasonable cause, and return to duty. Some employees may be classified as having safety"‘sensitive positions. These positions are identified as Field Personnel, including Technicians, Supervisors, Managers, Field Training Specialists, and any variation of those positions. These positions are also subject to post"‘accident and random testing.
