Overview Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking Grocery Clerks to work across multiple departments, including Dry Grocery, Dairy, and Frozen. Successful candidates will help maintain a clean, organized store, receive and restock products, rotate merchandise, and provide excellent customer service in a fast"‘paced, friendly environment. Responsibilities Stock shelves, fill frozen food bins, and maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the store. Receive product deliveries, ensuring delivery accuracy, and move product to the sales floor using various equipment. Rotate merchandise to ensure the freshest product is available for customers. Use equipment such as pallet jacks (for employees 18+), ladders, garbage or cardboard compactors, and knives (except safety cutters). Comply with safety, health, OSHA, and Weights and Measures regulations. Team members under 18 are restricted from using knives (except safety cutters), ladders, garbage or cardboard compactors, motor/electronically powered equipment (including manual pallet jacks), and working in coolers or freezers for prolonged periods. Qualifications Be at least 16 years of age. Be dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule that changes, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Have and show a mutual respect for others and maintain a high-level code of ethics within Sprouts culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with our customers. Have good communication skills and the ability to take direction and participate in a team environment. Be able to perform repetitious activities, and can multi"‘task, prioritize and stay organized. Must vertically/horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 60 lbs. from 5" to 34", for a distance up to 5 feet for up to 25 hours without mechanical assistance. Pay Range Hourly pay ranges from $17.05 to $21.25, based on applicable experience and qualifications.
