Job Overview A Nurse Surveyor Supervisor I supports CDPH's mission by supervising nurse surveyors, reviewing reports and correspondence, and communicating with the public and health"‘care facility operators on policy, procedures, and regulatory interpretations. The position requires up to 25% travel and may be performed on a hybrid telework schedule. Responsibilities Supervise Nurse Surveyors and ensure quality work and performance. Review all reports, surveys, and correspondence prepared by field staff and State Fire Marshalls. Communicate with the public and health"‘facility operators/administrators on policy, procedures, and regulatory interpretations. Work with program personnel to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Qualifications Experience supervising in a health"‘care setting. Ability to review survey reports and regulatory documentation. Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time. Eligibility for a hybrid telework schedule under CDPH policy.
