Overview Akkodis is seeking Site Reliability Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Chandler, AZ - Hybrid (3 days on site in a Week). Pay: $65-70/hour - All Inclusive; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Responsibilities Role is accountable for establishing and maintaining partnerships with Application Development and Production Support teams to implement the measures prescribed through the collaboration of the Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) and the SRE team(s) they are leading. This individual will include ensuring the appropriate instrumentation, tooling, ticketing, alerting and on-call routines are in place for key services. This role demonstrates a high level of technical expertise within one or more technical domains. This role demonstrates the ability to decompose issues or objectives into units of work that can be assigned to other team members. This individual will advocate and advance more efficient solution delivery practices and evangelize great design, engineering and organizational practices. Specific focus for this role will be automation, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, Camunda, Python, Consul, Cloud Qualifications BS /MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving systems or equivalent practical experience. Minimum 5+ years of hands"‘on experience supporting Terraform Enterprise, Ansible Automation, Cloud Experience with Python, Ansible, Golang, and shell scripting HashiCorp Terraform/Red Hat Ansible certifications are a plus Strong experience in major services related to Compute, Storage, Network and Security Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Dynatrace, as well as cloud native tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics Strong understanding and background of working with a complex infrastructure, including RHEL and Windows Servers, OpenShift containers, Terraform, Azure and AWS virtual resources. Experience with CI/CD tools git /Jenkins, GitOps model Excellent understanding of Linux /Windows operating systems administration Experience in Jira, Remedy and other workload management tools. Fast learner Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team with direct responsibilities.
