Subcontracts Principal at Honeywell: establish and drive procurement of material and services in alignment with business leadership for your assigned commodity/category and/or region as per the Annual Operating Plan. Ensure compliance with company business policies, procedures, and Export/Import regulations. Impact the evaluation of bids and proposals, ensuring compliance with FAR, DFAR, company policies, and program requirements. Resolve subcontract issues and develop mutually acceptable solutions. Report directly to the Director of Strategic Sourcing and work out of Tempe AZ, Glendale AZ, Clearwater FL, Norcross GA, or Phoenix AZ on a Hybrid work schedule. Responsibilities Manage all USG end use subcontracts with suppliers to provide products and services necessary for install operations throughout project life cycle. Create and implement sourcing strategies aligned with program needs and schedule constraints. Lead supplier meetings to align technical requirements, schedules, and development milestones. Drive creation and negotiation of development contracts, ensuring appropriate terms, pricing, and risk mitigation. Partner closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure alignment with program deliverables and contractual obligations. Engage proactively with program office, contracts group, and lead Program Managers on matters of subcontractor cost, performance, and schedule. Administer existing subcontracts in interaction with Program, Project, and Cost/Estimating teams. Lead, guide, and mentor other subcontracts focal on the Electronics Team. U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or asylum or refugee status required for compliance with U.S. export control laws. Qualifications 8+ years of procurement/subcontracts administration experience. DoD procurement subcontracting experience (FAR 15). Detailed understanding of the DoD Procurement Life Cycle. Experience with FAR and DFAR. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with procurement software and tools. U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or asylum or refugee status required. We Value Bachelor's degree or MBA preferred. Experience working with subcontractors during all phases of program lifecycle. Experience with MS Office Suite, SAP, and other business tools used in subcontracts management.
