The Manager - Market Intelligence will play a key role in transforming research and data into actionable intelligence to support strategic decision"‘making and business development activity across the firm. Reporting to the Director of Business Insights, this individual will be responsible for high"‘level analytical work, clear and innovative reporting, and hands"‘on data tasks, ensuring the Business Development team has the insights needed to drive growth and client engagement. This is a remote position located in Georgia, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Washington, DC, or Virginia. Candidates based in Kansas City will work a hybrid schedule. Pursuant to Massachusetts, New York and Washington, DC regulation, the salary range for this position is $150,727 - $190,960 per year and includes eligibility for performance"‘based bonuses. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. For more information visit: Responsibilities Support a Business Insights (BI) team responsible for maintaining InterAction and Microsoft Dynamics CRM databases, leading department data analysis and reporting, maintaining market research and competitive intelligence practices, and supporting business development strategy through the application of data and research. Develop and deliver insightful reports and dashboards using internal and external data and research sources. Provide data"‘driven support for business development campaigns, client targeting, and firmwide initiatives. Interpret and translate complex research and data into clear, compelling narratives for leadership and stakeholders. Perform high"‘level analysis to proactively identify trends, opportunities, and risks across client segments, industries, and markets. Lead or assist with complex research projects in support of business development opportunities, new product exploration, industry deep dives, market reports, and other projects. Collaborate with cross"‘functional teams (e.g., Client Listening, Business Optimization, Proposals, Business Development, CRM, Knowledge Management) on reporting and research needs. Support ad hoc data, information, and research requests and routine reporting needs with accuracy and efficiency. Assist in maintaining and improving data quality and consistency across platforms. Contribute to the development and refinement of data and research processes, tools, and methodologies. Help identify automation opportunities and support implementation efforts. Help develop research approaches and best practices and develop and conduct related training across teams. Evaluate and recommend new research tools and resources. Assist Director - Business Insights with special projects as needed. Qualifications Strong ability to multi"‘task and work independently while participating as a team member. Comfortable meeting with and presenting to attorneys and department leadership. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Power Point, and SharePoint. Standard knowledge of Microsoft Outlook. Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics (preferred), InterAction, Salesforce or other CRM software. Knowledge of research tools such as Lex Machina, Dun & Bradstreet, Westlaw, Statista, IBIS World, and other research platforms. Comfort with large datasets, data validation, and troubleshooting data inconsistencies. Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI (preferred), Tableau, or equivalent. Ability to review and assess research sources for accuracy, objectivity, and relevance. Ability to work accurately in a fast"‘paced environment and be flexible with changing deadlines and requirements. Ability to proofread and edit accurately and adhere to established style guides. Ability to clearly and professionally present data and information in an understandable fashion. Experience managing subscription services and outside vendors. Experience leading diverse project teams and applying project management principals. Education & Certifications Bachelor's Degree required. Experience Required Minimum of 5"‘7 years of law firm business development, research, data analytics, or business intelligence experience is required. At least one year at a manager level, preferred.
