Currently holds or is enrolled and working to obtain a dyslexia therapist license from an approved dyslexia graduate internship program2. Must currently hold a valid teaching license. REPORTS TO:Dyslexia/RTI CoordinatorJOB GOAL:Implement dyslexia services.PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide dyslexia therapy services to students across the district as assigned.Conduct screenings and assessments and assist teachers in developing appropriate intervention plans for students.Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance and support effective dyslexia interventions.Implement dyslexia interventions with fidelity in alignment with state and district guidelines.Communicate state and district dyslexia policies and procedures to teachers and staff as needed.Collaborate and communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and the community.Provide support and professional learning opportunities for teachers and staff related to dyslexia and intervention practices.Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual student needs.Support the implementation of the district's dyslexia program across all campuses.Perform other duties as assigned.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
