The pharmacy operations manager participates in the development of standard operating procedures, staff education, policy and procedure development, quality oversight, and compliance with all state, federal and regulatory agencies. The pharmacy operations manager collaborates with other pharmacy leadership, staff, providers, administration, families and visitors to promote safe medication management. The pharmacy operations manager functions as a staff pharmacist when needed.Required Education:Bachelor's of Pharmacy Degree or PharmDPreferred Education:Residency Trained, Advanced DegreesRequired Skills:Adept at Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint, etcRequired Licensure/Registration/Certification:Licensed Pharmacist with the Texas State Board of PharmacyPreferred Licensure/Registration/Certification:Sterile IV Compounding Certification, advanced pharmacy certificationsRequired Experience:Two years of hospital pharmacist experiencePreferred Experience:Management experienceIND123
