Description and Functions Open Until Filled GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Wyoming Department of Health, Behavioral Health Division, is seeking an At-Will Employee Contract (AWEC) State Opioid Response (SOR) Project Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of Wyoming's SOR grant. This role ensures effective implementation of grant activities, supports subrecipients, monitors compliance, and helps drive statewide efforts to address opioid use disorder. The Coordinator will collaborate closely with internal teams, community partners, and federal agencies to ensure the program meets its goals and reporting requirements. Human Resource Contact: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function that may be performed in the job level. * Serve as the Division's primary point of contact for SOR grant subrecipients, providing guidance, technical assistance, and support. * Manage day-to-day administration of the SOR grant in compliance with federal and state regulations, including developing standard operating procedures; reviewing and approving subrecipient reimbursements in coordination with fiscal staff; preparing and submitting all required grant-related paperwork; and organizing and conducting subrecipient site visits. * Monitor budget expenditures and financial activity to help assure compliance with state and federal fiscal guidelines and regulations. * Implement compliance measures and controls to track progress toward grant goals and to identify and address potential issues. * Collaborate with federal and state officials to communicate program performance, provide technical assistance, and resolve issues as they arise. * Gather, analyze, and report program data and outcomes to stakeholders and funding agencies to demonstrate progress toward goals and to aid in ongoing evaluation and improvement. * Perform other duties as assigned in support of the SOR grant and related initiatives. Qualifications PREFERENCES: Preference will be given to candidates with experience with federal regulations, monitoring, and compliance. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in fiscal and contract management.
