Northwell Health's Department of Behavioral Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health team at Phelps Hospital. We are recruiting for a highly motivated Practitioner who has outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills and is able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Ø 22-bed Inpatient Psychiatry Unit with 24/7 care for adults 18 years and olderØ Multidisciplinary staff includes 2 dedicated psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, nurse practitioners, social workers and occupational therapistsØ ECT availableØ General medical care provided by hospitalist serviceØ Monday-Friday schedule, 9am-5pm, with equal and shared evening and weekend callPhelp's Department of Behavioral Health provides additional comprehensive services, including:Ø OASAS-licensed, 20-bed inpatient chemical dependence rehabilitation unitØ OMH-licensed outpatient clinic and Continuing Day Treatment ProgramØ OASAS-licensed outpatient chemical dependence unit with day rehabilitation programs and clinic-level servicesØ Hospital Care Management Program for ongoing patient supportPhelps Memorial is a 238-bed community hospital situated on a scenic 70-acre campus along the Hudson River in Sleepy Hollow, NY, just 40 minutes to NYC.
