American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including interventional procedures, for a 3x12 evening shift contract at a stroke center facility.Job Details• Hospital-based CT department serving as a stroke center that also performs interventional procedures including drains and biopsies,• Adult acute care and adult outpatient patient population,• Procedures include abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging - with and/or without contrast,• Primary equipment includes Philips scanners and Medrad injector; GE, Siemens, and Toshiba systems also in use,• Epic EMR is used (preferred),• 3x12 hour evening shifts, Wednesday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM,• Call required two weekends per month,• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,Job Requirements• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience,• Current ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required,• Experience with CT-guided interventional procedures, including drains and biopsies, is preferred,• Proficiency with PACS and contrast media preparation and/or administration required,• Ability to start peripheral IVs required,• Experience with isolation precautions and PPE required,• Philips equipment experience preferred,• License required if applicable,• Pending licenses are not accepted,Additional Information• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,• Travelers are expected to work any holiday that falls on a scheduled workday,• No more than 1 week of time off will be approved per contract; all time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration,• Scrubs are provided, though personal scrubs may also be worn,• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years are required for consideration,• A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
