Position Summary The Vice President of Cardiovascular Services providesstrategic leadership and executive oversightfor the heart and vascular service line across the full continuum of care. This includes: Cardiac Surgery Interventional & Diagnostic Cardiology Electrophysiology Vascular Services Non-Invasive Cardiology Outpatient & Ambulatory Services This executive leader is accountable for: Drivingstrategic growth and market expansion Aligning cardiovascular services withorganizational priorities Leadingservice line innovation and transformation Ensuringfinancial performance and operational excellence Advancingquality outcomes, patient safety, and patient experience The VP partners closely withhospital executives, physician leadership, and community stakeholdersto position University Health as thepremier destination for cardiovascular carein the region. Key Leadership Responsibilities Develop and execute acomprehensive cardiovascular service line strategy Leadprogram development and service expansionacross inpatient and outpatient settings Driveclinical excellence and performance improvement initiatives Overseefinancial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis Collaborate with physicians to strengthenalignment and program growth Implementdata-driven decision-makingusing market and operational analytics Develop and executemarketing and outreach strategiesto grow patient volume Monitor local and national cardiovascular trends to ensurecompetitive positioning Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Nursing(required) Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field(strongly preferred) Minimum10 years of progressive leadership experiencein cardiovascular services or hospital administration Demonstrated success inoperational, financial, and strategic leadership Licensure CurrentRegistered Nurse (RN)license in the State of Texas CurrentBasic Life Support (BLS/CPR)certification Why University Health?
