By joining our network, you position yourself for opportunities aligned with your career goals.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.Conduct regular EHS inspections and audits to identify hazards and assess risks.Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions.Provide EHS training to employees on topics such as hazard communication, emergency response, and safe work practices.Manage hazardous waste programs, including proper storage, labeling, and disposal.Maintain accurate EHS records and prepare reports for regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.Collaborate with engineering and operations to integrate safety into new equipment and process designs.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related science/engineering field.3+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.Proven ability to conduct EHS training, risk assessments, and incident investigations.Experience with EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).Professional certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) preferred.Bonus QualificationsCertified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certificationExperience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 implementation and auditingProficiency in a second language, particularly SpanishExperience with hazardous waste management and permitting (e.g., RCRA)Familiarity with industrial hygiene principles and monitoring equipmentJob Titles That Should ApplyEnvironmental Health & Safety Specialist, EHS Specialist, Health and Safety Officer, Safety Coordinator, Environmental Specialist, Occupational Health and Safety Advisor, Workplace Safety Specialist, EHS Coordinator, Safety and Environmental Officer, Compliance Specialist EHSWhy The Pivot Group NetworkThe Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
