JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Greensboro, NC • Service Setting: Hospital (Float Pool) • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: August 17, 2026 - February 2027 (26 weeks) • Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM - (5x8 full-time required; flexible non-consecutive days) PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: All ages • Patient Volume/Census: 60+ cases per day across department • Case Mix: General, ortho, GYN, ENT, vascular, thoracic, neuro, trauma; NORA (IR, EP, Endo, MRI) FACILITY INFORMATION • EMR System: Epic • Office Equipment Available: Drager anesthesia machines; Philips monitoring • Specialty Backup Available: Medical direction model • Support Staff Available: Multidisciplinary OR teams • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Credentialing Timeline: 60-90 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Rate: TBD • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: TBD REQUIRED PROCEDURES • General anesthesia • Regional anesthesia (preferred) • Airway management JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active NC license required (compact accepted) • Board: NBCRNA certification required • Certifications: ACLS and PALS required • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years; no new graduates • Other Qualifications: Must be flexible to float across locations; no consecutive day scheduling DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide anesthesia services across multiple hospital locations • Perform general anesthesia and related procedures • Work within a medical direction model • Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams • Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
