Project Aide ANNOUNCEMENT OF NON- PROFESSIONAL VACANCY Applications are invited for consideration to the following position Department: The STAR Program Budget Title: Project Aide Salary Range: (Based Upon Experience)$17.00 Descriptive Title:THEO Peer Assistant Part-time, days of the week and hours vary. Vacancy 21-36 Description of Duties: This is a grant funded position. - Work closely AEP/PREP Project Staff to develop new advocacy, outreach, and prevention education materials for the PREP Initiative. - Attend training and seminars on community health, HIV/AIDS, Sexually Transmitted Disease, Teaching Skills and Evidence Based Programs. - Provide administrative support to the THEO staff and Peers, as needed. - Escort at risk teens to partnership clinics for HIV Counseling and Testing, Pregnancy Testing, medical services and STI testing. - Co-facilitate evidence based curriculum with staff. - Lead THEO Town Hall meeting/World Aids Day Event at SUNY Downstate Medical Center - Participate in STAR Community Advisory Board, BATES Youth Network, leadership group, and community boards. - Plan, Develop, Implement, and Monitor all social media outreach, including
