Position Overview:u00a0Always Best Care of Fairfax is seeking care professionals who are supportive and gentle to work in the Reston area with a wonderful couple. The primary client will be the husband who needs support with a number of ADLs, but the couple will require support with IADLs (such as cooking meals, laundry, transportation). Primary Responsibilities: Ambulation and Transfer Support Provide personal care tailored to the needs of the client, including assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, etc.) Escort the client to medical appointments and other errands Collaborate closely with family members, healthcare professionals, and other care professionals to maintain a consistent and high-quality continuum of care Qualifications: Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) with active license in the state of Virginia preferred; also open to experienced HHA (Home Health Aide) or PCA (Personal Care AIde) Experience caring for individuals in need of ambulation support Valid driveru2019s license and access to reliable transportation Strong communication skills and a compassionate, client-centered approach Experience working in a community with other health care professionals Caregiver Benefits: Competitive pay Paid training and ongoing professional development opportunities Mileage reimbursement atu00a0$0.70 per mileu00a0for client-related travel Join our team and make a difference in the lives of others Always Best Care ofu00a0Fairfax is an equal opportunity employer.
