Already an industry leader in healthcare services, we provide home respiratory services and select medical equipment to help our patients sleep better, breathe better, heal faster, and thrive longer.JOB SUMMARYThe Warehouse Clerk receives, unpacks, checks, and stores equipment and supplies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESu2022 Packages and prepares equipment and supplies prior to distribution.u2022 Fills orders by preparing supplies to be distributed to patients.u2022 Processes paperwork for distribution of equipment and supplies.u2022 Ensures distribution forms, requisitions, purchase order forms and packaging slips are completed accurately.u2022 Performs quality assurance checks on all products received before stocking or distributing goods.u2022 Ensures warehouse is maintained in an efficient, clean and safe manner.u2022 Reports stock levels to supervisor.u2022 Assists with the ordering of equipment and supplies to maintain appropriate inventory levels.u2022 Assists in completing periodic inventory count.u2022 Cleans and sterilizes medical equipment.u2022 Performs minor equipment repair and maintenance as required. Maintains files on all equipment.u2022 Acts as back-up to delivery employees when necessary.u2022 May deliver equipment to home healthcare patients.u2022 May set up and instruct patients on the basic use of their medical equipment, as approved or allowed by local and state licensure limitations.u2022 Assists patients in solving problems regarding equipment use.u2022 May perform other delivery duties as assigned.u2022 Performs other duties as required.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESu2022 N/AMINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSu2022 Meets company minimum standard of Background Check.u2022 Pass the Department of Transportation Physical.Education and/or Experienceu2022 High School diploma or GED requiredu2022 At least one year of related work experience is required.u2022 Minimum of three years driving history required.u2022 Two years inventory management preferred.u2022 Previous interaction with the general public in a service management industry preferred.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designationsu2022 Valid driveru2019s license required.u2022 Must meet job-related requirements to comply with D.O.T., F.D.A. and standards of accrediting body.u2022 Current MVR must meet company minimum standardsu2022 CDL with Hazardous Materials endorsement preferred.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIESu2022 Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.u2022 Ability to multi-task effectively.u2022 Ability to communicate effectively in person, on the phone and electronically.u2022 Knowledge of warehousing and inventory managementu2022 Knowledge of DOT and FDA regulations preferredu2022 Knowledge of Home Healthcare industry preferredComputer Skillsu2022 Ability to use electronic hand held device.u2022 Basic Computer Skills.u2022 Complete on-line training and testing.u2022 Basic printing/faxing/scanning.u2022 Inventory management software preferredu2022 Microsoft Office program preferredLanguage Skillsu2022 English (reading, writing, verbal)Mathematical Skillsu2022 Basic problem solving (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
