We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lighting Technician to join our team. The Lighting Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage lighting systems and exterior wiring for residential and commercial properties. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship that enhances safety, functionality, and aesthetics. Key Responsibilities: · Install, maintain, and repair low voltage lighting systems, fixtures, and controls. · Perform exterior wiring, trenching, conduit installation, and cable routing. · Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and project specifications. · Safely operate tools and equipment required for lighting installations. · Test and troubleshoot wiring systems to ensure functionality and compliance with safety codes. · Collaborate with project managers and other team members to complete projects on schedule. · Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. · Provide excellent customer service, including explaining system features and answering client questions. Qualifications: · Previous experience in low voltage electrical work or lighting installation preferred, but not required. · Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams. · Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. · Physically able to work outdoors in varying conditions and perform tasks such as lifting, digging, and climbing ladders. Schedule: Days (Monday thru Friday) May occasionally need to work some Saturday hours.
