The Director of Sports and Fitness will be responsible for all supervision, management, and training of department staff and oversight of all department programs and operations. They will report to the CPO on all daily, monthly, and quarterly operations of the department, which includes our fitness and athletics programs. This includes coordinating administrative functions and special projects within the department and with other departments within the agency. To be successful in this role, you need to employ judicious decision-making abilities regarding a diverse range of activities. Preferred applicants are effective multitaskers, can motivate others, and are observant. Looking for someone who understands youth sports with a concentration and expertise in basketball. Minimum Qualifications: Requirements: Develops and implements existing and new initiatives as they relate to youth sports,and reimagines what the department could look like. Emphasis on league play, competitive travel teams, and competitions, i.e., basketball, soccer, martial arts, swimming, dance, pickleball, table tennis, volleyball, and more...
