A busy and active family with two working parents on the Upper West Side is seeking a part-time afternoon/evening nanny for their one-year-old and early school-aged child. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 2-8pm with some flexibility.Accompany the older child home from school (within walking distance) and to after-school classes and play datesCreating an engaging and fun environmentPreparing snacks and meals for the childrenChild related laundry and tidying when neededInfant care, including supervising sleep and feeding routinesOccasional travel to the family’s second home on Long IslandProviding one-on-one care to each child in partnership with other caregiversWarm and caring, with a playful energy and high level of engagementExtremely reliable and punctualUnderstanding of household boundaries as the family is quite privateGoal oriented- should enjoy setting goals for the child and executing those plansExperience with early school-aged children and infantsBackground in childhood education/development would be a huge benefitFluency in a second language would be a huge bonus!US work authorizationSwimming is NOT required but would be a bonus!$35-40/hr. on the booksPTOYearly discretionary bonus
