A wonderful, kind, and caring lady based in Manhattan is seeking a live-out companion/caregiver to assist her whilst she recovers from surgery. This is a temporary position to start ASAP through to June 2026, but flexibility on dates would be appreciated.The schedule will be 10-12-hour days, Monday through Friday, with a separate caregiver covering weekends.The principal has young children, so the candidate should be comfortable interacting and being around them. There are other staff within the home, so excellent communication skills are required, along with the ability to stay one step ahead and be proactive throughout the day.Assist the principal withgetting in and out of bed,dressing, hygiene, and mobility when moving around the homeEnsure the wheelchair is available when neededAttend physio sessions and be able to offer support afterwardsOffer assitance with medicationEnsure a sense of safety, reliability, and calm presence within the homeWhen required be able to assist with household management: oversee vendors, deliveries, etcSupport with light household chores if neededHave great organizational skillsCompassionate and patientProactive and thoughtful approachDiscreet and respectfulExcellent communication skillsMust betrustworthy, patient, and respectfulThe ability to work together as a teamLegal to work in the U.S.$40+Metro card
