ZS is looking for an experienced SmartManufacturing /IT-OT Integrationexpert to serve as anIT-OTConsultant Lead in the ZS Supply Chain and Manufacturing practice. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead Industry 4.0 transformation programsand IT-OTintegrationinitiatives for ZS Supply Chain and Manufacturing clients.This includes serving as a subject matter expert on smart manufacturing,IT-OTsystem architectures, and implementation best practicesbased on industry standard frameworks such as IS88, ISA95 client discussions; designing and deploying scalable digital manufacturing platforms; managing multi-disciplinary teams and projects; and contributing to Supply Chain and Manufacturing practice development.Whatyou’lldo:This role combines OT, smart manufacturing, and systems integration experience in a production / manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have5-7+ years of experience across:Hands-on experience with smart manufacturing, IT-OTintegration, andknowledge of OT systems(e.g.,one ormore of anyof these -PLCs,SCADA,DCS,HMIsetc.)Knowledge and experiencewithindustrial communication protocols (e.g.,one ormore of anyof these -OPC-UA,ModBus, MQTT, REST-APIsetc.) with understanding of real-timedata exchange across shop floor systems.Experienceinarchitecting hardware/software infrastructure to enablemanufacturing intelligence solutions, including integration ofOT datawithone or more of any of these -MES,Historians(one or more of any of these -OSISoftPI,Ignition,Aveva,Kepware etc.), ERP, LIMS,QMSetc.Experience indesigning and deploying scalable Industrial Data Operations capabilities and Unified Name Space (UNS) compliant architecture for data contextualization, meta datamanagementandcreation of semantic data layers to enable use cases/applications.Deep understanding of manufacturingprocess knowledge(discrete and continuous),including lean principles, OEE(Overall Equipment Effectiveness), downtime analysis,root cause analysis on live production lines for quality events etc.Demonstrated ability to lead workshops with clientstakeholdersandcross-functional teams to create digital transformation roadmaps to achieveIndustry 4.0/ 5.0 vision for smart manufacturing / factory of the future, prioritizinghigh-ROI use cases,conducting Proof of Concepts/Proof of Valueandscale for operationalization.Whatyou’llbring:Bachelors’orMasters’degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrialor ElectronicsEngineering or a related technical discipline.Exposureto manufacturing and qualityadvanced analyticsuse cases(e.g.,golden batch, advancedprocess control,digitaltwins,batch release, deviationmonitoringetc.) is strongly preferred.Any knowledge of agentic AI use cases for manufacturing and quality would be a bonus, andLean / Six Sigma experience (Green Belt or Black Belt) preferred; formal certification is a plus but notrequired, orFamiliarity withIIoT/IoT platforms (e.g., one or more ofany of these -Tulip,Highbyte,Cognite,ThingWorx, Ignition, AVEVA etc.) and cloud/on-prem data storage (e.g., one or more of any of these -AWSorAzureor Google Cloud Platform), orKnowledge/experience ofindustrialcybersecurity(e.g., one or more of any of these -CFRPart 11 compliance, IEC62443 security protocols, SOC 2 IS compliance etc.)is a nice-to-have.Strong client-facing skills, with experience supporting pre-sales / business development (e.g., demos, solutioning discussions,proposal creations, experience in RFPresponsesetc.)Strong communicationskills with the ability tounderstand client business needs and translate them totechnical and businessrequirements.Demonstrated experience in change management and stakeholder onboarding, from shop floor users to senior leadership, to support adoption of new digital and OT/IT capabilities.
