Waste Connections is searching for our next All-Star Heavy Equipment Operator to join us at our West Van Materials Recovery Center (6601 NW Old Lower River Rd, Vancouver, WA 98660).Starting rate of pay is $29.00/HRSchedule is MONDAY - FRIDAYShift is 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM (or until close/last truck out). Overtime often.Safety Sensitive: YESQualified candidates must have Front End Loader, Excavator, Yard Truck and Trailer experience.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:REQUIRES ability to efficiently & safely operate Front End Loader, Excavator, Yard Truck and Trailer. Compactor experience preferred.REQUIRES Valid Drivers License and acceptable motor vehicle report.Performs routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking oil, water, and tires.Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:Extensive physical activity.
