OH0741 Columbus Business OfficesJob DescriptionThe SBA Construction Loan Manager will oversee the assigned SBA construction pipeline that requires multi-disbursement administration. Coordinate, collect, and review construction qualification packages, manage construction loan reviews, and administer disbursements consistent with SBA SOP, Bank Credit Policy, and Procedures. Partner closely with SBA Sales and SBA Credit to ensure timely, compliant closings and complete funding. Provide weekly progress reporting to leadership.Essential FunctionsProvide construction and multi fund due diligence review and approval for a rapidly growing complex SBA Construction Loan Portfolio prior to closingEstablish proper SBA Construction Loan Administration process and procedures in accordance with the SBA SOP's and Bank Credit Policy. Maintain yearly updatesOversee and administer the SBA portfolio in accordance with bank credit policy, loan agreement, SBA Authorization, SOP requirements, and industry standards.Approve, review and analyze Bank and SOP required documentation for post close disbursement portfolio of SBA Construction projects and multi funding loans. To include construction pay applications, change orders, FF&E, Inventory and Working Capital draws and process/disburse accordinglyCommunication directly with Third Party Funds Control companies as well as internal departmentsOversee and maintain frequent and independent customer contact and proactively coordinate and recommend resolution of issues directly related to the construction project.Create and generate administrative reports, forecasts and budgets up to date and available for department managers on the Pre-Close and Post-Close SBA Construction PortfolioWorking knowledge of in-house end to end system and Loan SystemConduct training presentations for all staff and additional construction department employeesCoordinate the Construction Loan Debentures and Construction Loan SalesEstablish proper Service Level Agreements for the SBA Construction DepartmentOther duties as assignedEducation and Work Experience PreferredHigh school diploma or related experience5-6 years SBA2-3 yeas Loan Closing/Loan Operations5-6 years Construction ManagementAdditional Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to establish effective working relationships among team members and participate in solving problems and making decisionsAbility to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience, whether oral or writtenAbility to actively listen to what others are saying to achieve understanding, sharing information with others and facilitating the open exchange of ideas and informationAbility to establish courses of action for self to accomplish specific goals, develop and use tracking systems for monitoring own work progress, and effectively use resources such as time and informationAbility to make right decisions based on perceptive and analytical processes, practicing good judgment in gray areasNorthwest is an equal opportunity employer.
