Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Sr. Accountant to join our team in Oxnard, California. In this role, you will oversee key financial functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounting processes. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting audits while demonstrating strong analytical and organizational skills. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage the month-end closing process, including preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations. u2022 Reconcile various accounts to ensure financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Assist in audit preparations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. u2022 Analyze financial data using Excel and organizational systems to create comprehensive reports. u2022 Monitor daily cash balances to maintain optimal liquidity and financial stability. u2022 Prepare detailed cash flow forecasts and financial reports to support decision-making. u2022 Process wire transfers, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial transactions with precision. u2022 Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial documentation and records. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams and external banking partners to optimize cash management processes. u2022 Provide backup support to the Finance Manager and assist with additional duties as needed. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, and auditing roles. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, particularly Excel, for financial analysis. u2022 Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage recurring financial tasks effectively. u2022 Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain productive relationships across departments and with external partners. u2022 Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Expertise in general ledger management, journal entries, and account reconciliations. u2022 Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.
