Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Carpenters for projects located in or around Cranston, RI. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Carpenter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:Layout materialsErect residential or commercial framework; concrete forms, walls & roofsInstall doors frames, doors, windows, cabinets, molding & trimRead, analyze, and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and building plans to determine material requirements and dimensionsSafely operate hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, and pneumatic nailer's, while maintaining toolsEstimate material needs, troubleshoot issues, and mentor apprenticesAdhere to safety regulations (e.g., OSHA), ensuring a safe job site and proper use of safety gearRequirements:Must have proven experience as a journeyman carpenter, usually verified by completion of an apprenticeship program.Must have strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and construction methodMust be able to lift heavy materials (up to 75 lbs), stand for long periods, work at heights, and work in varied weather conditions.Must have basic hand tools and PPEAbility to read blueprintsTradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
