Position Description The Senior Manufacturing Engineer playsa critical role in driving manufacturing excellence by developing,improving, and optimizing production processes. This position focuses ontechnical leadership, strategy, problem-solving, and continuousimprovement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, andcost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background inmanufacturing engineering and a passion for operational excellence andmentoring. Key Responsibilities Lead and support process improvementinitiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies. Design,develop, and implement manufacturing processes, equipment, strategy, andtooling to improve production efficiency and product quality.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality,maintenance, and design engineering to resolve manufacturing issues.Providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff. Analyzeproduction data and metrics to identify trends and areas forimprovement. Support new product introductions by providing design formanufacturing feedback to design engineering and then developing andvalidating manufacturing processes. Create and maintain processdocumentation including standard work, work instructions, PFMEAs, andcontrol plans. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, andregulatory standards. Provide technical support and training toproduction staff as needed. Participate in capital equipment selectionand justification.
