Position Description The Quality Engineer II is responsiblefor ensuring that all products, components, and processes meet thecompany's quality and safety standards. This role focuses on developingand improving quality systems, managing nonconformances and returns,leading corrective and preventive actions, and ensuring compliance withinternal requirements and industry standards. The QE II collaboratesclosely with crossfunctional teams and serves as a key technicalresource for both internal and external stakeholders, supporting aculture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, andaccountability. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with applicableindustry standards and customer-specific quality requirements. Develop,implement, and sustain quality management systems, procedures, andrecords in support of both operational and regulatory compliance. Leadand support internal audits, customer audits, and third-partyassessments; develop and execute effective corrective and preventiveactions (CAPA). Drive root cause investigations using structuredproblem-solving tools (e.g., 5 Whys, 8D, fishbone analysis) to resolvenon-conformances and prevent recurrence. Prepare and submit PPAPpackages, and related quality documentation to customers and end users.Will oversee the internal audit system and identity and monitorcorrective actions resulting from both internal and external audits.Support Modine customer base by providing first call support and actingas the Voice of the Customer in the facility.
