Description We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the operations of multiple warehouses in Galveston, Texas. This role requires a strong background in supply chain management and logistics, with a focus on improving efficiency, accuracy, and cost control. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who excels in fostering collaboration and driving organizational success. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage the operations of five warehouses, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and cost-efficiency. u2022 Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes and procedures. u2022 Analyze operational and financial reports to identify opportunities for improvement. u2022 Utilize Warehouse Management Systems effectively to oversee daily operations and inventory control. u2022 Promote teamwork and clear communication among staff to achieve organizational goals. u2022 Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies across all locations. u2022 Collaborate with leadership to align warehouse operations with broader supply chain objectives. u2022 Lead efforts to enhance performance metrics and operational efficiency. u2022 Supervise and mentor warehouse teams, providing guidance and training to improve performance. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or supply chain logistics. u2022 Proven expertise in supply chain management, logistics, and inventory control. u2022 Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational and financial data. u2022 Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems and other relevant IT tools. u2022 Ability to lead teams effectively and foster collaboration. u2022 Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred. u2022 In-depth knowledge of warehouse distribution and inventory processes. u2022 Strong commitment to maintaining safety standards and compliance regulations.
