Job Description

Title: Assistant ManagerLocation: Bronx, NY 10473Schedule: Must have open availability to work all 7 days a week opening and closing location(s)100% in office / Full timeThe Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in managing the fast-paced operations and staff of a fast food restaurant. Responsibilities:- Maintain fast, accurate service and positive guest relations- Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures- Work collaboratively with the management team to meet budgeted sales goals- Manage food, labor, paper costs, and other controllable expenses- Execute company policies and procedures for the control of cash, property, product, and equipment- Monitor inventory levels through ordering to ensure product availability- Manage and maintain safe working conditions- Manage crew employees in a manner that maximizes crew retention- Assist the General Manager in developing Crew Members and Shift Supervisors, to prepare them for growth within the company- Interview and recommend team members for selection in hiring- Provide proper training of team members, ensuring compliance with company standards- Anticipate and identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective action- Uphold the companys social responsibility values and ethical practicesQualifications:- High School diploma or equivalent (some college a plus)- One or more years' restaurant experience- Open/flexible work availability (able to work opening and closing shifts)- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage your own team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills- All employees in a management or supervisory position must possess a Serve-Safe Certification within 6 months of their hire date. May also need to obtain state-specific certifications.
