A thirty (30) minute meal break and two fifteen (15) minute breaks; (1) during the first 6 hours of the shift and (1) the last 6 hours of the end of the shift will be permissible.Actual shifts worked will include 12 shifts, 10-hour shifts, 8-hour shifts, and/or according to the needs of the unit.Duty SchedulesDay Shift: 0645-1515, 0845-1715, 1045-1915, 0645-1715, 0645-1915Evening Shift: 1445-2315Night Shift: 2245-0715, 1845-0715u00a0Degreeu2022 CertificateEducationu2022 Graduate from Surgical Technology program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or completion of a formal training program provided by any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force) for surgical technicians, surgical technologists or operating room technicians.Certification:u2022 Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or certified as a Tech-in-Surgery (TS-C) from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or possess a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) certification as a surgical technician and/or operating room technician.u2022 Basic Life Support (BLS).u00a0Experience:u2022 One year of experience as a Surgical Technician or Operating Room Technician after graduation.u00a0Job Duties and Responsibilities:The duties include but are not limited to the followingu2022 Performs the full spectrum of sterile techniques, setting up surgical trays, preparing and draping patients for surgery, and assisting with post-operative dressings.u2022 Ensure surgical packs are cleaned and packed for sterilization after every procedure, to include restocking surgical supplies.u2022 Maintain a clean safe environment for the patient either by active participation in cleaning of clinical spaces, operating rooms, and medical equipment, or by guiding other personnel in the environmental maintenance.u2022 Immediately report events to the registered nurse or officer in charge and document notification.u2022 Serve as a member of the surgical team in
