They will also have the opportunity to work on some of the most intriguing brands and vehicles in the world while having the following responsibilities.Responsibilities:Produces billable labor on the vehicle brought into the Service Department for service or repairSets completion times for the jobs assigned to the production TeamDispatches work to all the Team members in a fair and equitable mannerManages the Team to achieve high levels of overall Team productionMaintains a high standard of quality workmanship for the labor performed by every Team memberWorks with each Team member to ensure their performance helps the team maintain their objectivesMaintains a high level of cleanliness, grooming, and uniform appearance for the entire TeamDetermines if employees are in good standing with the companyMakes the final hiring decisions for Team personnelMeets with the Service Manager at least once a week to discuss: The Team’s performance vs. objectives; Personnel problemsEnsures that all Team members adhere to company policiesDetermines the training needs of the Team and inform management of those needsCommunicates to the appropriate Assistant Service Manager (ASM) information regarding any job that will not meet the ASM’s promise timeAssures that flat rate time assignments are true and accurateReviews the up-flagging of all repair orders at the end of each day (work in progress and left uncompleted)Covers the previous days’ flat rate hour performance with all the Team members every dayDesignates and train a lead Technician to manage the Team in the Team Leader’s absenceWorks with the Service Manager to develop monthly production forecastsMaintains the Team at the size determined by managementMonitors Technician certification status within the Team as required (ie., NIASE, State of Texas, etc)Informs management of any situation or event that would interfere with established objectives, standards, or company policyEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); and minimum one year dealershipexperience.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSOperator's Driver's License; State Inspection License.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
