This position will monitorstaff's performance and address issues concerning the production andquality of a product. This is a working position in the work cell whichoperates within an environment where standardized work, LeanManufacturing, and 5S principles are practiced. This position reports tothe Production Lead II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Daily teamengagement through morning meetings and communication boards Assigndaily work to the work cell and give instructions to the team Check andperform routine quality audits and first article inspection to approvenew team members and production methods/processes/procedures Monitorproductivity, safety, quality, and delivery goals of the work cellHandles minor team conflict and escalates when appropriate Refers to theengineer drawings to ensure the correct parts are pulled and usedCoordinates activities to produce orders according to standardized workinstructions Maintain supplies, inventory, and documentation at stationsFollows all safety regulations and enforces safety policies Sets dailyproductivity goals and works with the team to achieve them Leads andparticipates in daily cell changeovers Performs preventive maintenanceSolves routine problems by utilizing troubleshooting methods Insuresthat standardized work and Lean manufacturing practices are beingfollowed Recommends and assists in improvement projects Performs otheressential duties as assigned by management Required Experience andKnowledge/ Skills/Ability 2-3 years prior experience building basicmechanical and/or electrical assemblies or assembly preparation Up to1-year experience mentoring or supervising others Detail-oriented andmulti-tasking skills Ability to organize assemblies in an efficientmanner Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Exhibitcooperation and teamwork skills Basic math skills - addition,subtraction, multiplication, and division of whole numbers &measurements Convert inches to millimeters Basic computer skills;ability to use Microsoft Office Self-motivated and...
