Description Growing New York City firm is currently seeking an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with proven experience in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Proficiency in QuickBooks and NetSuite is critical to performing day-to-day operations effectively. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and reconcile invoices for accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely payments. u2022 Generate and manage invoices for accounts receivable, applying payments and addressing outstanding balances. u2022 Enter bills, purchase orders, and expense reports into accounting systems such as QuickBooks and NetSuite. u2022 Conduct regular account reconciliations and swiftly resolve discrepancies. u2022 Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure accurate financial reporting. u2022 Maintain and update vendor and customer records within accounting platforms. u2022 Collaborate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve billing or payment issues. u2022 Provide documentation and support for audits and compliance reviews. u2022 Identify and implement improvements to streamline accounts payable and receivable processes. Requirements u2022 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles. u2022 Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and NetSuite. u2022 Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. u2022 Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. u2022 Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other Office tools is advantageous. u2022 Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
