Asset Protection Analyst Apply Now ( Save Job Job ID R26_1241 Address 3200 Hackberry Road, Irving, Texas, 75063, United States Location Irving, Texas Provide business intelligence support to the organization in alignment with the four pillars of the Asset Protection Department. u00b7 Revenue/Profit Assurance u00b7 Inventory Variation Control u00b7 Incidents and Investigations u00b7 Safety and AP Awareness Duties and Responsibilities: u00b7 Translate business needs into analytical work products using Power BI, delivering visualizations and meaningful insights from large datasets. u00b7 Identify exceptions requiring urgent action and communicate findings promptly. u00b7 Support the physical inventory audit process by providing both high-level insights and store-specific details. u00b7 Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Retail Inventory Accounting (Oracle). u00b7 Prepare financial reporting that highlights areas of risk on the Store P&L. u00b7 Develop store communications as needed. u00b7 Become well-versed in the financial drivers impacting franchise financials. u00b7 Manage store notification processes. u00b7 Partner with cross-functional departments to support special analysis requests. u00b7 Support analytics related to equity balances and identified stores at risk based on key financial drivers. u00b7 Train end users on new reports, processes, and dashboards. u00b7 Perform various ad hoc analyses as assigned. Qualifications: u00b7 Bacheloru2019s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related financial field or at least 3 years' related experience in lieu of degree u00b7 Strong knowledge of Inventory Accounting processes, GAAP, and financial reporting standards. u00b7 Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI. u00b7 Demonstrated analytical expertise with a solid understanding of retail business acumen to develop and interpret financial reports. u00b7 Hands-on experience working with multiple data sources (structured and unstructured) and managing concurrent projects. u00b7 Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly; strong understanding of GAAP as it relates to financial reporting. u00b7 Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments.
