To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: Come Join HII Where Hard Stuff is Done Right HII - Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Senior Zero Trust Compliance Officer to work out of Fairfax, VA in support of the DoD/DoW Advana War Data Platform designed to aggregate operational, intelligence, logistics, and sensor data from multiple domains, enable Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) by providing a common data fabric, and support AI/ML applications for predictive analytics, targeting, and mission planning. This position is contingent on contract award Responsibilities: I want to and can do that u2022 Designs, documents, and validates Zero Trust compliance across Department of Defense mission systems operating on unclassified and classified networks. u2022 Translates Zero Trust technical implementations into defensible authorization artifacts aligned with DoDI guidance, NIST control families, and the DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture. u2022 Evaluates identity-centric access controls, network micro-segmentation, continuous authentication mechanisms, and encrypted traffic protections for compliance sufficiency and audit readiness. u2022 Maintains System Security Plans, Security Assessment Reports, and Plans of Action and Milestones reflecting Zero Trust capabilities using eMASS, Xacta, and controlled SharePoint repositories. u2022 Conducts Zero Trust maturity assessments, traces capability alignment to control objectives, and documents compliance posture for review by Authorizing Officials, Senior Information Security Officers, and Component cybersecurity leadership. u2022 Coordinates with cybersecurity engineers, network teams, and system owners to reconcile technical configurations with authorization requirements. u2022 Reviews vulnerability findings, control assessment results, and continuous monitoring outputs to validate Zero Trust control effectiveness. u2022 Produces compliance dashboards, executive summaries, and evidence packages supporting authorization decisions and mission risk awareness. u2022 Supports inspections, penetration testing reviews, and governance boards through structured documentation and authoritative briefings. u2022 Advances program values of mission assurance, audit transparency, cyber resilience, and operational trust by delivering consistent compliance alignment between Zero Trust engineering and security authorization outcomes. Requirements: I have already done that or have it u2022 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience. u2022 IAM I (CompTIA Security+ CE, ISCu00b2 CAP, ISCu00b2 SSCP, or GIAC GSLC) certified u2022 Must have an active Top Secret security clearance u2022 US Citizen Preferred Requirements u2022 Familiarity with Advana architecture, Palantir Foundry, or similar data integration platforms u2022 Experience with data governance frameworks and metadata management u2022 Agile/SAFe delivery experience in secure environments Physical Requirements May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment.
