In this Manager of Projects (MoP) position for Northeast Transportation, Ports & Maritime, youu2019d directly supervise Project Managers (PMs) and be an integral part of our Northeast Transportation market leadership this role youu2019ll use your strong inspirational leadership skills to providing mentoring and career development for the project managers and design managers in your portfolio of projects and aligned PMs. This will include coaching and improving skills in scoping and budgeting of projects, project execution, and overall client management and satisfaction. You will promote inclusion and diversity within the project teams in their portfolio. Ultimately you will be developing an environment for the PMu2019s financial and professional success.Youu2019ll use your passion for focusing on staff management (for PMs) and a desire to focus on helping our PMs to deliver successful solutions for our clients. Youu2019ll also be involved in working with Client Account Managers (CAMs) and capture teams, participating in various sales activities such as go/no-gou2019s, teaming strategies, pricing strategy, Global Integrated Design (GID) resource strategy, and middle/end game activities for strategic pursuits. The MOP role will transcend from pre-tender to full project delivery and will include delivery and risk governance throughout the process.Along with the Group Leaders (GLs) and CAMs and our engineering team, you will contribute to local market strategy and growth, career development, succession planning, staff retention, hiring plans, etc. You will be expected to coordinate with the DLs and GLs for staff needs and workload planning.As MoP, you will be driving the delivery of budgeted Gross Margin (GM) for a portfolio of projects and aligned PMs. Youu2019ll enhance GM results though focus on change management, cash management and delivery of high-quality value-added services to our clients. Youu2019ll also review and approve proposal/project contract documents, risk and pricing. The MoP will ensure adherence to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements for all projects in their portfolio and aligned PMs. Youu2019ll partner with the Geographic and Performance Unit Financial and Project Controls leads and staff for Business Plan Forecasting and to ensure that Project estimates to completion (ETCu2019s)/estimates at complete (EACs) are forecasted accurately.
